REACHING
THE PEOPLE WHO BUY AND USE ROAD CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND AGGREGATE
PROCESSING MACHINERY.
Processing
aggregates and building roads in Canada are among the most demanding
applications for heavy construction equipment and machinery. To achieve
maximum production efficiency in a highly competitive marketplace,
these industries are constantly upgrading and/or replacing their crushers,
screens, conveyors, loaders, excavators, rock
drills, dozers, graders, compactors, pavers, trucks and other
machines with the latest models.
If you want to sell your
equipment in Canada, make the most of your marketing budget by advertising
in AGGREGATES & ROADBUILDING. With AGGREGATES & ROADBUILDING,
you reach a specially targeted audience - aggregate producers, roadbuilders,
excavating/grading contractors, drillers & blasters, asphalt paving
contractors and ready mix concrete producers.
These are
the companies who buy and use your products. Since its successful
launch in October 1987, our magazine has been the independent, authoritative
and integral part of Canada's construction materials scene. With our
expanded coverage, we have now become the respected and trusted voice
of the country's roadbuilding industry. No other publication comes
close to AGGREGATES & ROADBUILDING's breadth and depth in covering
its target markets. The result is that our feature articles and technical
reports are some of the most widely read and referenced of their kind.
OUR
MARKETS
Canada's aggregate industry
is among the largest in the world with over 5000 pit and quarry sites
across the country producing in excess of 500 million tons annually.
At 17 tons per person per year, Canadas consumption rate of
construction aggregates is about double the per capita usage
of the United States and triple the average among the major
European Union countries.
Approximately 60% of our
annual production is used to build, maintain and repair the nation's
500,000 miles of primary and secondary roads. The $15 billion aggregate
and roadbuilding industry, which has been growing steadily in recent
years, is about to be presented with new and exciting challenges.
The federal and provincial governments are committed to upgrading
Canada's 18,000-mile long National Highway System by implementing
significant, long-term sustainable funding through the National Transportation
Investment Strategy. Similar to TEA- 21 in the United States, the
National Highway Program will direct billions of dollars in new spending
over the next five years to upgrade Canada's roads and bridges. The
work will drive up demand for construction aggregates and roadbuilding
services to levels not seen in decades. This in turn will lead to
increasing demand for new aggregate processing machinery and road
construction equipment by our readers.
As the National Highway
program develops, AGGREGATES & ROADBUILDING will be there providing
maximum on-site coverage.
